My Trimester 1 Reflections

Stretch Your Wallet:

This trimester I have loved this class because of the cooking and budgeting work. I loved being in the cooking room with all my friends making food and having fun. I also liked learning how to create a budget and calculate the figures and learning all the new words around budgeting. It has been a very interesting but fun class, and it was also nice to know lots of people in there as well.

We're All In This Together:

This trimester in this class, at first I wasn't that confident and couldn't understand the work that well. It was really good that I knew quite a few people in there as well, and they all helped me out at the start. Further on I gained an understanding of the module and what I was learning, I then gained a big understanding of my work and I knew what I could write about. I now have lots of confidence in my work efforts.

Adrenaline:

In this module I only knew a few people in this class as well, but I was still excited for all the outdoor and scientific activities. I loved doing all the outside activities because I like sports and I just enjoyed them loads. I liked doing all the science stuff as well, because i'm interested in this area with animals and muscles, so I found it fun and interesting.

Year 9 Well Being:

This trimester in this class, I learnt quite a bit about Anzac, Bullying, and Easter. I gave me more of an understanding of the school and I had a few friends in here with me. I had fun in this class and enjoyed and understood the meaning of it.

Build Your Own Impact Project:

I have really enjoyed this impact project because I have done something that i've really liked and into. I have learnt lots about my project while creating it. I have had lots of fun with my friends around me.

The Game Of Life

Yesterday I went to the Game Of Life career event, with school to find out more about jobs that I might be interested in. Instead of staying at one specific area, I went around with my friend and looked at all the jobs, just to see what was out there, because I didn't know if I liked any in the colour I got, so I went around any way.

A positive about the event was that all the helpers and people with knowledge about their jobs, were all really nice and gave good descriptions about them, so I learned some things about new and different jobs.

negative about the event was that it was really hot and stuffy inside and there was a lot of people there to, so it was hard to get around, and lots of people would be at the same job at the same time. Also there wasn't that much selection and range of jobs for me, so most of them weren't to interesting, so none really stood out much.

An interesting thing about the event was that there were some cool cars and machinery at the event and doing the Truck Driving Simulation was really cool and fun but it was quite easy. There were some cool jobs out there that I didn't know about before.
